Koepeltent Coleman Darwin 3 3 personen groen stalen frame

The Coleman Darwin 3 3 Person Green Hard Frame is a dome tent designed to accommodate up to three people. Constructed from polyester with a hard fiberglass frame, the tent provides a defined structure that simplifies pitching and improves stability. With interior dimensions of approximately 2100 mm width, 1100 mm depth and 1800 mm height, the tent offers standing height in the centre and sleeping space for up to three adults or a combination of adults and children. The lightweight construction at around 3.4 kg makes the tent suitable for short backpacking trips, weekend camping and quick setup at campsites.

Advantages

The hard frame and fiberglass poles deliver reliable shape and easier assembly compared with flexible pole designs, while the polyester fabric provides weather resistance and quick drying. Compact and carrying-friendly weight allows for easier transport in a car or in a backpack for short distances. The tent’s interior height and dome profile offer usable headroom and more comfortable movement inside the shelter compared to low-profile sleeping tents.

Suitable for

How to use

Select a flat, level campsite clear of sharp objects and debris. Lay out the footprint or groundsheet, unpack the tent body and assemble the fiberglass hard frame according to the frame connection points. Attach the tent fabric to the frame and secure corners with pegs. If included, fit the rainfly and guy lines, tensioning them to improve stability in wind. Ensure all ventilation openings are adjusted to manage condensation. When packing, allow the tent fabric to dry completely to avoid mildew, then collapse the frame and store the tent in its carry bag.

Recommendations

Use a dedicated footprint or groundsheet to protect the polyester floor from abrasion and moisture. In windy or wet conditions, add extra guy lines and firmly anchor pegs. For longer trips, air and dry the tent after use and store it in a cool, dry place. Follow care instructions for polyester fabric and fiberglass poles to maintain performance and extend service life.
