Kogelkraan XSPC G1/4, messing behuizing met zwart-chroom afwerking, model WASC-504

XSPC G1/4 ball valve WASC-504 is a compact shut-off valve with a brass body and black-chrome finish, designed for liquid cooling loops and small fluid installations. The valve features a G1/4 threaded connection that fits standard PC water-cooling fittings and accessories. Its construction provides reliable on/off flow control and tight sealing for radiator, reservoir or tubing integration, allowing convenient isolation and maintenance of loop sections without draining the entire system.

Advantages

The brass construction offers corrosion resistance and mechanical durability while the black-chrome finish provides additional surface protection and a discreet appearance compatible with most system builds. The G1/4 threaded form factor ensures broad compatibility with common fittings, and the ball valve mechanism gives quick, positive shut-off with minimal pressure drop. The compact design allows installation in tight spaces near radiators, reservoirs or tubing runs.

Suitable for

• PC liquid cooling loops (radiator or reservoir drain/isolation)
• Custom water-cooling maintenance access points
• Small fluid lines and hobbyist liquid projects using G1/4 fittings

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4 compatible threaded connection
• Body material: brass
• Surface finish: black-chrome plating
• Function: on/off ball valve for flow isolation
• Size: compact form factor suitable for tight installations

How to use

Install the valve into a G1/4 threaded port on a radiator, reservoir or fitting using appropriate thread sealant or tape if required for the chosen assembly. Ensure the valve is oriented for convenient access to the handle and that adjacent fittings have sufficient clearance. Turn the valve handle 90 degrees to open or close the flow; the ball mechanism provides a clear open/closed position. When installing in a pressurised system, perform a leak test after assembly and before regular use.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use compatible G1/4 fittings and avoid overtightening metal threads. Periodically inspect the valve and surrounding fittings for signs of leaks or corrosion, and operate the valve occasionally to prevent stiffness. When performing maintenance, isolate and drain only the affected loop section to minimise fluid handling.
