Koppeladapter DELOCK RJ45-bus naar RJ45-bus met M23-schroefdraad, Cat.6a/Cat.7, IP68, zwart

The DELOCK RJ45 jack to RJ45 jack connector adapter with M23 thread provides a compact, durable solution for joining two Ethernet cables in outdoor or industrial environments. Designed for Cat.6a and Cat.7 connections, the adapter maintains cable shielding and delivers an IP68-rated dust- and waterproof junction. Constructed from black plastic and measuring 120 × 28 × 28 mm, it offers mechanical protection and reliable mating of two RJ45 plugs while preserving signal integrity for high-speed network links.

Advantages

The adapter supports Cat.6a and Cat.7 performance and preserves cable shielding to ensure minimal interference on high-frequency data transmissions. Its M23 threaded coupling and sealed design deliver IP68 protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for exposed outdoor installations. The compact plastic housing provides mechanical protection and a straightforward, tool-free connection between two RJ45 plugs.

How to use

Prepare the RJ45-terminated cables by ensuring connectors and shielding are intact and clean. Align the first RJ45 plug with one jack and push it fully into the adapter until it seats; secure the connection by engaging the M23 threaded nut until hand-tight to achieve the sealed IP68 interface. Repeat the procedure for the second RJ45 plug. Verify that both plugs are fully inserted and that the threaded coupling compresses the sealing elements. No specialized tools are required for typical assembly.

Recommendations

For reliable IP68 performance, assemble the adapter in a clean environment and ensure connector seals and cable jackets are undamaged. Use cables with intact shielding and correct RJ45 terminations; avoid excessive bending or tension at the junction. Periodically inspect the sealed connection in harsh environments and re-tighten the M23 coupling if needed.
