Krimpkous CellPack 148842, 100 cm lengte, per stuk verpakt

CellPack 148842 is a single-piece heat-shrink tubing supplied in a 100 cm length for electrical insulation and mechanical protection. Designed for use in household and light industrial environments, this medium-wall tube includes a thermoplastic adhesive that provides a sealed fit after shrinking. The tubing is inscribable and formulated to resist chemical agents and UV exposure while offering stable electrical performance and mechanical durability.

Advantages

The medium wall construction combined with thermoplastic adhesive ensures reliable sealing and strain relief around cable joints. Stabilization against UV rays and resistance to chemical agents extend service life in exposed environments. The material is non-corrosive, infusible, and self-extinguishing, while maintaining high flexibility and tensile strength for difficult routing and mechanical stress. Inscribable surface allows marking for identification.

Suitable for

• Cable repair and insulation of damaged outer jackets
• Sealing and strain relief for splices and connectors
• Protection against abrasion in household wiring and light industrial installations
• Identification and marking of cables after installation

Key specifications

• Material type: heat-shrink tubing with thermoplastic adhesive
• Wall: medium
• Length: 100 cm (single piece)
• Flame behavior: self-extinguishing
• Mechanical: high flexibility and high tensile strength
• Chemical and environmental resistance: resistant to chemical agents and stabilized against UV rays
• Surface: inscribable
• Electrical properties: superior electrical insulation characteristics

How to use

Cut the CellPack 148842 tubing to the required length, slide it over the cable or joint, and position it so that the adhesive-coated section covers the area to be sealed. Apply heat uniformly using a heat gun, hot air tool, or controlled flame source at appropriate distance until the tubing shrinks and the adhesive flows to form a continuous seal. Allow the assembly to cool before handling. For best results, ensure surfaces are clean and dry prior to application.

Recommendations

Use a temperature-controlled heat gun and maintain even motion during heating to avoid local overheating. For applications exposed to outdoor UV or aggressive chemicals, verify compatibility and consider additional mechanical protection if required. Other lengths are available on request; a standard spool may include sections tied together.
