Krimpkous DeLOCK 18973 zwart 1 m 8 mm

DeLOCK 18973 is a black polyolefin heat shrink tube, 1 meter long with a maximum diameter of 8 mm. It is intended to provide insulation and mechanical protection for wires, cable joints and small electrical components by shrinking tightly around the object when heated.

Advantages

The polyolefin material offers good electrical insulation and resistance to environmental influences. The 1 m length and 8 mm maximum diameter make the sleeve suitable for a range of repair and finishing tasks. Its black colour provides a discreet finish and UV resistance for many everyday applications.

Suitable for

• Insulating soldered or crimped wire joints
• Repairing damaged cable jackets
• Bundling and protecting small wire runs
• Covering exposed terminals and connectors

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length, slide it over the wire or joint, then apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun or lighter) until the sleeve uniformly shrinks and tightly conforms to the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool before handling to ensure a secure fit.

Recommendations

Use appropriate safety precautions when applying heat. For sensitive components, keep heat sources at a safe distance and apply heat gradually to avoid damage. Choose a shrink ratio and diameter that allow a snug fit after shrinking.
