Krimpkous DeLOCK 18937 zwart 5 m 8 mm

The DeLOCK 18937 heat shrink tube is a 5 m length of black polyolefin tubing with a maximum diameter of 8 mm. It provides reliable insulation and mechanical protection for wires, cables and electrical connections in repairs and assembly work.

Advantages

The polyolefin material offers good electrical insulation and resistance to environmental influences. The sleeve shrinks uniformly when heated, forming a tight fit around cables and eliminating exposed conductors. Supplied in a 5 m length, it is suitable for multiple repairs and installations.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable joints
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Organizing and bundling small cable groups
• DIY electronics and automotive electrical repairs

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length, slide it over the cable or joint, then apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot air tool or suitable heat source until the sleeve shrinks tightly around the conductor. Allow to cool before handling to ensure a secure fit.

Recommendations

Use an appropriate heat source to avoid overheating; ensure the working area is well ventilated. For cables carrying high current or exposed to harsh environments, choose the correct tube diameter and check compatibility with operating temperatures.
