Krimpkous DeLOCK 18941 zwart 5m 1 stk.

The DeLOCK 18941 heat shrink tube is a black polyolefin sleeve 5 meters long with a maximum diameter of 1.8 cm designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. When heated, the tube contracts to form a tight protective covering that resists weather exposure and mechanical damage, providing reliable electrical insulation for connections and exposed conductors.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction offers good electrical insulation and mechanical resistance while the black colour provides discreet protection. The 5 m length and single-piece supply allow flexible cutting to required sizes, and the heat-activated shrinking ensures a secure fit around irregular shapes and joints without additional adhesives.

Suitable for

• Insulating wire splices and soldered joints
• Protecting cable ends and exposed conductors
• Bundling and organizing cable runs
• Repairing damaged insulation on wires and small cables

Key specifications

How to use

Cut the required length from the 5 m tube, slide it over the cable, splice or joint, then apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun) until the sleeve contracts and conforms tightly to the shape of the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool so it sets firmly. Avoid direct flame contact and follow the heat source manufacturer's safety instructions.

Recommendations

For best results, choose a heat source that provides even, controllable heating such as an electric heat gun set to an appropriate temperature. Ensure the tube selected fits the cable diameter before shrinking and trim any sharp edges on cables to prevent cutting the sleeve during installation.
