Krimpkous HellermannTyton 323-21150, polyolefine, zwart, 3-pack

HellermannTyton 323-21150 is a pack of three black polyolefin heat shrink tubing pieces designed to insulate and protect electrical connections and wiring. These heat shrink tubes provide mechanical protection and environmental sealing when reduced by heat, making them suitable for repairs, wire harnessing, terminal insulation and providing strain relief in a variety of electrical and electronic applications.

Advantages

Polyolefin construction offers flexible, durable insulation that shrinks uniformly to form a close-fitting jacket around cables and connectors. The black color provides a discreet appearance and basic UV resistance for indoor and some outdoor uses. Supplied as a pack of three, the tubing allows multiple small repairs or parallel installations without the need to cut from longer reels. When properly heated, the tubing delivers reliable mechanical protection, improves electrical safety by covering exposed conductors, and helps prevent moisture ingress at joints.

Suitable for

• Insulating soldered joints and crimped terminals
• Repairing damaged cable insulation
• Bundling and protecting wire harnesses
• Providing strain relief on connector terminations

Key specifications

• Material: polyolefin heat-shrinkable tubing
• Color: black
• Pack quantity: 3 pieces
• Function: electrical insulation, mechanical protection and environmental sealing after heat shrink

How to use

Slide a suitable-length piece of tubing onto the cable or over the connection before making the final joint. After soldering or crimping, position the tubing so it covers the exposed area and any transition points. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot-air tool or controlled flame from an appropriate distance until the tubing has shrunk to a snug fit. Allow the tubing to cool and set before handling. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safe heating practices to avoid damaging wires or adjacent components.

Recommendations

Select tubing diameter slightly larger than the unshrunk cable diameter to ensure easy installation, and verify shrink ratio compatibility with the cable and connector dimensions. Avoid applying excessive direct flame; a regulated hot-air tool is preferred for even shrinkage. For outdoor or harsh-environment applications, consider additional sealing or adhesive-lined products if watertight sealing is required.
