Krimpkous HellermannTyton 323-20080, zwart, 1 m lengte, geschikt voor 2–8 mm diameter, verpakking van 240

HellermannTyton 323-20080 is a black heat shrink tube supplied as a pack of 240 pieces, each 1 m long. The tubing is designed to insulate and protect electrical cables, wire joints and cable bundles. After heat application the tube shrinks to accommodate nominal diameters in the 2–8 mm range, providing a close-fitting protective sleeve for repairs and installations in industrial, commercial and domestic environments.

Advantages

The tube provides reliable electrical insulation and mechanical protection for conductors and splices. Its black color offers UV resistance and visual uniformity in installations. The 1 m length of each piece reduces waste and allows cutting to specific lengths for different applications. Supplied in a large pack of 240 pieces, it is suitable for repeated maintenance tasks and larger projects.

Suitable for

• Insulating individual wires and protecting soldered or crimped joints
• Cable bundling and strain relief for harnesses and looms
• Repairing damaged outer insulation on power and signal cables
• Electrical installations in machinery, panels and vehicle wiring

Key specifications

• Color: black
• Length per piece: 1 m
• Pack quantity: 240 pieces
• Usable nominal diameter range after shrinkage: 2–8 mm
• Function: heat-shrinkable insulation tubing for electrical protection and strain relief

How to use

Cut the required length from the tube and slide it over the cable or splice before making the connection. Apply heat evenly along the tube using a heat gun, hot air tool or controlled flame until the tubing contracts and forms a snug fit around the conductor or joint. Allow the tubing to cool to room temperature before moving the assembly. Ensure proper ventilation and follow standard safety procedures when working with heat sources.

Recommendations

For consistent results use a temperature-controlled heat gun and avoid local overheating. Choose a tubing length that fully covers the exposed area plus an overlap on both sides. For outdoor or moisture-prone applications, verify compatibility with environmental conditions and consider additional sealing methods if required.
