Krimpkous InLine 200 mm, krimpverhouding 4 mm naar 2 mm, 20 stuks, zwart

InLine heat-shrink tubing set includes 20 black tubes, each 200 mm long with a nominal shrink ratio from 4 mm down to 2 mm. Designed for electrical insulation, cable repair and strain relief, these heat-shrink tubes provide a durable protective covering for wire joins, terminals and connector housings. The tubes are suitable for both DIY and professional wiring tasks where a reliable reduction in diameter and neat insulation finish are required.

Advantages

The heat-shrink tubing offers consistent dimensional change when exposed to heat, enabling secure fit over splices and connectors while restoring tactile and electrical insulation. The 200 mm length allows coverage of longer joints or multiple short sections without seams. The black color provides discreet appearance and UV resistance for typical indoor and limited outdoor applications. Packaged as 20 pieces, the set delivers ready-to-use quantity for small installations, repairs or prototyping.

Suitable for

• Insulating soldered or crimped wire joints
• Providing strain relief on cable entries and connector backshells
• Repairing damaged insulation on single-core and multi-core cables
• Bundling and protecting small wire looms and harnesses

Key specifications

• Quantity: 20 tubes per set
• Length per tube: 200 mm
• Nominal shrink diameter: from 4 mm to 2 mm (approximate shrink ratio)
• Color: black
• Primary function: electrical insulation, mechanical protection and strain relief

How to use

Slide a tube over the cable or joint before making the electrical connection, position it to cover the exposed conductor and heat evenly using a heat gun, hot air station or controlled flame until the tubing contracts to form a snug fit. Allow the tubing to cool to room temperature before handling. For repairs, trim any excess tubing with a sharp blade or scissors after shrinking to achieve a neat finish. Ensure adequate ventilation and follow safe heating practices to avoid overheating surrounding materials.

Recommendations

For best results use a regulated hot air gun at moderate temperature settings and apply heat uniformly along the tube. When working with sensitive components, maintain a safe distance and gradually increase temperature until the tubing conforms. For long-term outdoor or high-moisture exposure, consider additional sealing with appropriate adhesives or selecting heat-shrink products specified for enhanced environmental protection.
