Krimpkousenset DeLOCK 18987 zwart 28 stuks

The DeLOCK 18987 heat shrink tube set provides insulation and mechanical protection for cables, electrical wires and tubing. Made of polyolefin and supplied in black, the set contains 28 pieces with lengths totalling 100 m and diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 5 mm. When heated, each sleeve contracts to form a tight, protective layer that increases cable durability and reduces exposure to weather and abrasion.

Advantages

Polyolefin construction offers good electrical insulation and resistance to environmental factors. The assortment of diameters—from 1.5 mm to 5 mm—covers a variety of cable sizes. Black colour provides a discrete finish for visible cable runs. The set includes multiple pieces (28 pcs) for convenient use across several projects.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting single conductors and small cable bundles
• Repairing damaged outer insulation on wires
• Securing and organizing wiring in electronics, automotive, and household installations

How to use

Select a sleeve with an appropriate expanded diameter for the cable or bundle. Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable and position it over the area to be insulated or repaired. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun or other controlled heat source until the sleeve contracts and conforms tightly to the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool before handling.

Recommendations

Apply heat gradually and keep the heat source moving to avoid overheating or damaging the underlying cable insulation. For automotive or outdoor applications, ensure full contraction and check for secure adhesion around connectors or splices.
