KVM-switch ATEN CS1922ATC USB DisplayPort 4K Ultra HD

The ATEN CS1922ATC 2 Port USB 3.0 4K DisplayPort KVMP™ Switch for ATC is designed for air traffic control environments where continuous access to multiple systems and high-resolution video are essential. It supports up to 4K @ 60 Hz and 2Kx2K resolutions for radar and monitoring applications, provides redundant power inputs through two lockable DC jacks, and allows control of two USB/DisplayPort-interfaced ATC computers using a single keyboard and mouse.

Advantages

The CS1922ATC offers near-instant switching with its Zero-Second Switch function to prevent black screens during transitions, flexible port switching via pushbuttons, hotkeys, mouse, RS-232 commands or an optional remote port selector, and patented ATEN technologies (Video DynaSync™ and EDID expert™) to ensure optimal display resolution and signal stability. Its metal housing and 12V DC power input with redundant connectors are intended to maximize uptime for mission-critical operations.

Suitable for

• Air traffic control towers
• Approach control rooms
• Area control centers
• Radar monitoring stations and mission-critical monitoring workstations

How to use

Connect each ATC computer to the CS1922ATC using DisplayPort cables and attach USB keyboard and mouse to the front or rear USB ports as required. Provide 12V DC power and, for redundancy, connect both lockable DC power inputs. Switch between connected computers using the front panel pushbuttons, configured hotkeys, mouse switching, RS-232 commands, or an optional remote port selector. The Zero-Second Switch and EDID management operate automatically to maintain continuous video output during switching.

Recommendations

For mission-critical ATC installations, install both lockable DC power supplies to ensure redundancy, use high-quality DisplayPort cables rated for 4K @ 60 Hz, and configure EDID settings if required to match connected displays. Regularly verify RS-232 control and hotkey settings to maintain reliable switching.
