KVM USB-switch UGREEN CM662 2x4 uitgang, zwart

UGREEN CM662 is a compact KVM USB switch in black designed to share USB peripherals between multiple computers. The 2x4 output configuration allows two hosts to access up to four USB devices without unplugging cables, simplifying workspace management and reducing cable clutter. The device supports seamless switching of keyboard, mouse and other USB peripherals in office or home environments where multiple systems need shared control.

Advantages

The switch offers a space-saving form factor and straightforward wired connections that minimize setup time. It enables simultaneous connection of up to four USB devices to two host computers, allowing users to switch control quickly and reliably. Passive operation requires no complex software installation and the neutral black finish fits into typical desk layouts.

Suitable for

• Sharing a keyboard and mouse between two desktop computers
• Connecting multiple USB peripherals (printers, scanners, external drives) to two hosts
• Home office setups with one or two workstations and shared input devices
• Small offices where multiple users need access to the same USB devices

• Color: black
• Port type: USB (host and peripheral connections)
• Form factor: compact desktop unit
• Power: USB bus-powered (no external adapter required)

How to use

Place the UGREEN CM662 on a stable surface near your computers and connect the USB cables from each host to the host input ports. Attach up to four USB peripherals to the device output ports. Once connected, use the switch control method provided by the unit to change the active host; connected peripherals will become available to the selected computer. No additional drivers are typically required for standard USB keyboards, mice and storage devices.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, connect high-power devices directly to a powered USB hub or to the host computer rather than through the KVM switch. When transferring large files to external storage, ensure the target computer is selected and recognized before initiating transfers. Keep device firmware and host operating systems updated to maintain compatibility with common USB peripherals.
