The CM300 combines a premium aluminum finish with a proven ASMedia controller for reliable, high-speed performance. Its tool-free design means you can swap drives in seconds, and the compact size makes it perfect for travel. UASP and TRIM support ensure optimal performance with SSDs, while S.M.A.R.T. monitoring helps you keep an eye on drive health. The auto sleep mode saves power and extends drive life when idle.

Ideal use cases

• Reviving an old laptop or desktop SATA drive as external storage
• Creating fast portable backups or transferring large video files
• Expanding storage for game consoles or smart TVs
• Cloning drives or running diagnostics on SATA disks
• Building a compact, high-speed SSD-based external drive

Good to know

The enclosure is bus-powered, so no separate power supply is needed—just plug it into a USB-C port. For maximum speed, connect to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port; it is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. The aluminum body not only looks premium but also helps dissipate heat during sustained transfers. A 0.5 m USB-C to USB-C cable is included; if your host device only has USB-A, you'll need a separate adapter or cable.
