L-Torx-sleutel KS Tools 151.8165 chroom-vanadiumstaal 8 stuks

The L-torx key KS Tools 151.8165 Chromium-vanadium steel 8 pcs set provides a compact selection of eight L-shaped Torx keys manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel. Designed for precision fastening and disassembly tasks, the tools combine a rigid shaft with a comfortable L-form for torque transmission and access to recessed fasteners. The set is intended for workshop, maintenance and assembly environments where reliability and dimensional accuracy are required.

Advantages

The chromium-vanadium steel construction delivers high strength and wear resistance for repeated use. Hardened and precisely machined Torx profiles ensure accurate engagement with fastener heads and reduce the risk of cam-out. The L-shape offers leverage for tightening and loosening while enabling access to confined spaces. The set includes multiple sizes to cover common Torx fasteners, and the compact grouping facilitates organized storage and transport.

Suitable for

• Repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Automotive and motorcycle workshop work
• Assembly of furniture and electro-mechanical components
• Electrical and electronics service tasks requiring Torx fasteners

Key specifications

• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Set composition: 8 L-shaped Torx keys
• Tool shape: L-key with long and short arm for reach and leverage
• Finish: hardened, machined Torx tips for precise fit
• Weight (approx.): 700 g for the complete set

How to use

Select the Torx key size that matches the fastener head and insert the short or long arm into the fastener depending on required reach and torque. Use the long arm as a handle to apply higher torque, and use the short arm for increased access in tight spaces. Apply steady pressure aligned with the fastener axis to avoid slipping and ensure full engagement of the Torx profile. After use, clean off debris and store the keys in their holder or toolbox to maintain the tips' accuracy.

Recommendations

For optimal tool life, avoid applying excessive impact or bending loads and do not use the keys as prying tools. Inspect tips for wear before critical jobs and replace any key that shows rounding or deformation. When higher torque is required, use the long arm for leverage and consider a torque-limiting accessory to prevent fastener damage.
