L-Torx-sleutel Wiha 31243

The Wiha 31243 L-TORX key is a single-piece T40 tool made from through-hardened chrome-vanadium steel with a black finish. With an overall length of 210 mm and a head height of 43 mm, it is designed to access TORX® fasteners in confined or hard-to-reach areas while providing reliable torque transfer and a secure fit.

Advantages

The through-hardened chrome-vanadium blade increases durability and wear resistance. The one-piece construction improves strength and prevents joint failure. The black finish offers corrosion protection and reduces glare during use. The L-shape provides leverage for tightening and loosening TORX® screws in restricted spaces.

How to use

Insert the T40 end of the L-TORX key fully into the TORX® screw recess to ensure a secure fit. Use the long arm for reach and the short arm for higher torque as needed. Apply steady turning force, avoiding sudden impacts or excessive torque that could damage fasteners. After use, clean the tool and store it in a dry place to maintain the finish and prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use the Wiha L-TORX key as the correct-size T40 driver to reduce risk of cam-out and fastener damage; when working in confined spaces, use the long arm to reach and the short arm for leverage, and inspect the tool for wear before precision tasks.
