LANBERG AK-1404-B 19-inch 3U rack-blindpaneel, zwart

Keep your 19-inch server rack tidy, cool, and secure with the LANBERG AK-1404-B blanking panel. Unlike flimsy plastic fillers, this 3U panel is stamped from solid steel and finished with a durable black powder coating, so it blends seamlessly with standard rack enclosures while standing up to daily handling. It fills the empty 3U gap that would otherwise disrupt airflow, collect dust, and expose your valuable equipment to accidental contact.

Highlights

• Precision 3U size (133.35 mm high) for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets
• Solid steel construction with black powder-coated finish for long-term durability
• Improves cooling efficiency by preventing hot air recirculation and bypass airflow
• Enhances the professional appearance of your rack and protects installed hardware
• Simple screw-in installation using standard rack mounting holes (screws not included)

In daily use

In a busy server room or network closet, unused rack space is more than an eyesore—it is a source of thermal inefficiency and a potential safety hazard. The AK-1404-B closes off that open 3U area, forcing conditioned air to flow through active equipment instead of escaping through gaps. This helps maintain stable operating temperatures and can reduce the load on your cooling system. At the same time, the solid panel blocks dust, debris, and accidental contact with cables or components behind the rack. Its matte black finish matches most rack hardware, giving your installation a clean, finished look that clients and technicians will appreciate.
