LANBERG netwerkkabel Cat6 F/UTP RJ-45 naar RJ-45 10 m grijs

LANBERG networking cable Cat6 F/UTP RJ-45 to RJ-45 10 m Grey is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for Gigabit and high-speed wired LAN connections. The 10 m grey cable features Cat6 performance with F/UTP (FTP) overall shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference, a PVC outer jacket for mechanical protection, and male RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward connection to switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.

Advantages

The cable’s F/UTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with sources of electromagnetic interference while maintaining Cat6 bandwidth characteristics suitable for 1 Gbps Ethernet. A PVC jacket provides flexibility and abrasion resistance for typical home and office installations. Pre-terminated male RJ-45 connectors deliver plug-and-play convenience without the need for on-site termination.

How to use

Route the LANBERG Cat6 cable between network equipment ensuring the cable is not excessively bent or kinked; maintain gentle bend radii around corners and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. Plug each RJ-45 male connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to connect; the cable supports standard RJ-45 locking tabs for secure seating. For structured cabling, label both ends as needed and test the link with a network tester when commissioning.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 F/UTP cable for connections up to 10 m where shielded cabling is preferred. Avoid tight bundling with power cables and keep within recommended bend radius to preserve signal quality. If running the cable in permanently exposed outdoor or industrial settings, consider cables with UV- or oil-resistant jackets designed for those conditions.
