LANBERG netwerkkabel Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45 naar RJ-45 0,25 m wit

LANBERG Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45 to RJ-45 patchcord, 0.25 m, white. This Cat6 copper (CU) patch cable is designed for short connections in structured networks and features foil and braid shielding to reduce interference. Fitted with straight RJ-45 plugs on both ends, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is intended for reliable device-to-switch, switch-to-switch or patch-panel connections in environments requiring Cat6 performance and enhanced protection against crosstalk and external noise.

Advantages

The LANBERG Cat6 patchcord combines full-copper conductors with S/FTP (foil over each pair plus overall braid) shielding for improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable meets Fluke-tested standards, confirming its measured performance, and the LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke emission in case of fire. Its short 0.25 m length makes it suitable for neat patching in racks and dense installations where minimal cable slack is required.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use this 0.25 m patchcord for short, direct connections between patch panels, switches, routers or network devices inside racks or cabinets. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; route the cable following rack cable management best practices to maintain shielding effectiveness and mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use LANBERG Cat6 S/FTP patchcords in shielded or mixed environments and ensure both ends are connected to shielded RJ-45 ports or properly grounded panels. Do not exceed recommended bend radius and keep the cable away from strong EMI sources if possible.
