LANBERG netwerkkabel Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45 wit 0,25 m

LANBERG Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45 patch cable, 0.25 m, white — a short high-performance networking cable designed for high-frequency, short-distance connections in data centers, network racks and between devices that require Cat8.1 bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and full shielding to ensure stable, low-noise transmission in demanding environments.

Advantages

The cable provides Category 8.1 performance with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding, minimizing crosstalk and external interference for reliable high-speed data transfer. Its short 0.25 m length is suitable for rack-mounted equipment and close-proximity connections, reducing cable clutter and signal loss. Standard RJ-45 straight male connectors ensure compatibility with modern switches, servers and network devices.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the first device and the other connector into the port of the second device, ensuring secure seating in each jack. Use this 0.25 m cable for close-proximity patching inside racks or between adjacent devices. Verify link status on the connected devices to confirm proper connection and perform any required network configuration on switches or servers.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive compression of the cable; maintain bend radii recommended for Cat8.1 cables and route the cable to minimise exposure to strong electromagnetic sources. Use in short runs as intended to reduce insertion loss and preserve high-frequency characteristics.
