LANBERG netwerkkabel RJ-45 Cat5e PCU5-10CC-2000-BK, 20 m, U/UTP, CCA-geleider, PVC-mantel, zwart

The Lanberg PCU5-10CC-2000-BK RJ-45 Cat5e 20 m Black is a 20-metre ethernet patch cable designed for wired network connections in home and office environments. The cable uses Cat5e specification and terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its U/UTP construction helps reduce electromagnetic interference and supports reliable data transmission for typical Ethernet applications. The black outer jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable conforms to Cat5e performance parameters, offering stable throughput for Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit Ethernet deployments depending on network equipment and installation conditions. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure wide compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded jacket) design minimises crosstalk and external interference compared with untwisted alternatives, while the 20 m length covers longer runs between devices without the need for intermediate patch points.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device (router, switch, PC or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking clip engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radii consistent with good cabling practice. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or large electrical equipment to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use the Lanberg PCU5-10CC-2000-BK for reliable, everyday wired network links up to 20 m. For Gigabit Ethernet over longer or electrically noisy routes, consider shorter segmented runs with switches or choosing a higher-category cable (Cat6/Cat6a) where required by performance needs.
