Laserontvanger Bosch LR 6 Professional

The Bosch LR 6 Professional is a compact laser receiver designed to detect and read laser beams for alignment and levelling tasks on construction and surveying sites. With an IP54 rating, the unit resists dust ingress and splashes, enabling use in challenging work environments. Powered by a 1.5 V battery, the LR 6 Professional offers straightforward operation and clear signal feedback to assist operators in achieving accurate horizontal and vertical references.

Advantages

The LR 6 Professional combines a rugged housing with an intuitive display and audible signals to provide reliable detection of laser lines over extended ranges. Its protection against dust and water splashes increases on-site durability, while the compact form factor allows for easy one-handed handling and mounting on common poles or brackets. Battery operation simplifies field use without the need for external power sources.

Suitable for

• Leveling floors and ceilings in interior and exterior construction
• Installing window and door frames that require precise alignment
• Surveying and site layout tasks requiring transfer of height references
• Landscaping and grading where consistent slope or elevation is needed

Key specifications

• Protection class: IP54 — dust protected and splash resistant
• Power source: 1.5 V battery for portable operation
• Receiver type: handheld detector for laser lines and beams
• Construction: robust housing designed for jobsite use
• User feedback: visual and audible signals for center indications

How to use

Switch on the receiver and position it in the path of the laser beam at the required working height. Move the receiver vertically until the visual indicator or audible signal registers the laser centre. For repeated measurements, secure the receiver on a staff or pole and adjust the laser or staff height to transfer reference levels across the site. Replace the battery when signal strength weakens to maintain consistent detection performance.

Recommendations

Use the receiver within the environmental limits indicated by its IP54 rating, avoiding prolonged exposure to heavy rain or immersion. Store and transport the device in a protective case to prevent impact damage. For best accuracy, regularly check alignment against a known reference and replace batteries before long measurement sessions.
