How to use

Attach the lavalier clip to clothing near the speaker’s collar or lapel, positioning the capsule approximately 15–20 cm from the mouth for natural vocal balance and minimal plosive distortion. Route the cable discreetly to the transmitter or preamp input, securing excess cable to avoid rustling or movement noise. Adjust transmitter gain and any equalization according to the monitoring system to obtain clear, intelligible speech without clipping. Test levels before the event and perform a short soundcheck with the speaker to confirm consistent pickup and comfortable volume.

Recommendations

For optimal voice clarity, place the microphone off-center from the mouth to reduce breath and plosive sounds, and secure the cable to prevent rubbing against clothing. Use a windscreen in outdoor or draft-prone environments. Verify system compatibility with the 527.5 MHz operating frequency and follow local regulations for UHF transmission when the microphone is used with wireless transmitters.
