LEIFHEIT grondhuls voor wasmolen 1085600

In a sunny backyard, a family sets up their rotary dryer for the week's laundry, confident that the pole will stay firmly upright through wind and weather. The LEIFHEIT Ground Peg-Socket provides that assurance. This concrete-in ground socket is crafted for permanent outdoor installation, accepting rotary dryer poles up to 50 mm in diameter. Made from high-quality, weather-resistant plastic in a neutral grey, it withstands UV rays, corrosion, and temperature swings. An integrated protective lid keeps out debris when the dryer is removed, while built-in drainage holes prevent water accumulation. Installation is straightforward: dig a hole, set the socket in concrete, and after curing, insert the dryer pole. The result is a rock-solid base that eliminates wobbling and tipping, even with heavy wet laundry. Whether you're replacing an old socket or setting up a new drying area, this LEIFHEIT ground peg-socket delivers long-term reliability and peace of mind.

Why choose it

This ground socket is built to last. Unlike flimsy plastic sleeves or unstable tripods, it anchors your rotary dryer permanently, so it won't sway or topple in strong winds. The protective lid keeps the socket clean and free of leaves, dirt, and insects when not in use, and the drainage holes ensure rainwater flows out, preventing frost damage in winter. Its UV-stabilised plastic resists fading and brittleness from sun exposure, while the corrosion-free design means no rust stains on your patio. Installation is a one-time job, and the socket will serve you for many years. It's compatible not only with Leifheit dryers but also with most rotary dryers that have a 50 mm pole, making it a versatile choice.

Ideal use cases

• Permanent installation in a garden or yard for a rotary clothesline
• Replacing a damaged or worn-out ground socket
• Setting up a new outdoor drying area on a patio, lawn, or balcony (with concrete base)
• Providing a stable base for heavy laundry loads in windy locations
• Use with Leifheit rotary dryers and other brands with 50 mm poles

Good to know

The socket requires a hole of approximately 38 cm depth and a concrete foundation for secure anchoring. Once installed, the dryer pole simply slides in and out, allowing you to remove the dryer for storage or to use the space for other purposes. The protective lid snaps on when the pole is removed, keeping the socket clean and safe. Maintenance is minimal: just wipe the socket with a damp cloth if needed. The grey colour blends unobtrusively with most outdoor settings. Note that this is the ground socket only; the rotary dryer pole and line are not included.
