Lens kit Amaran APF0046A32 36° — Amaran lenzenkit 36° stralingshoek

Amaran Lens Kit APF0046A32 provides a fixed 36° beam angle lens designed for compatible Amaran lights. This accessory reshapes the native output to a tighter, more directional beam, enabling controlled illumination for photography, videography and studio setups. The lens is intended as a replacement or additional modifier to achieve consistent light spread and improved control over highlights and falloff.

Advantages

The 36° lens narrows the light’s spread to deliver more concentrated illumination while maintaining uniform output across the coverage area. It allows for better control of spill and edge feathering compared to wider optics, helping to isolate subjects and shape shadows. The lens is compact and straightforward to install on compatible Amaran fixtures, and its optical design preserves color balance and output quality for accurate results in stills and motion work.

Suitable for

• Portrait and headshot lighting where tighter beam control is needed
• Product and detail photography requiring concentrated illumination
• Interview and cinematic setups that need controlled key or rim light
• Studio environments where consistent, repeatable beam shape is important

Key specifications

• Beam angle: 36° fixed
• Optical function: reshapes and narrows beam spread
• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible Amaran lights
• Physical form: compact accessory lens for fixture mounting
• Color performance: maintains neutral color balance and image quality

How to use

Attach the lens to the front of a compatible Amaran light according to the lamp’s accessory mounting method; ensure it is seated and secured before powering the fixture. Position the fixture and adjust distance and angle to achieve the desired beam placement and intensity. Use the 36° lens to tighten the light spread for key, rim or accent lighting, and combine with diffusion or flags if softer edges or reduced contrast are required. Verify exposure and color on camera after installation to confirm consistent results.

Recommendations

For controlled subject separation, mount the lens on a dedicated key or rim fixture and place the light at a moderate distance to create distinct shaping without excessive hotspot. When mixing with other lights, check white balance and relative intensities to preserve consistent color and avoid unwanted shadows.
