LevelOne 24-poorts Gigabit PoE-switch, 802.3at/af PoE, 630W

The LevelOne GEP-2421 series are unmanaged Gigabit PoE switches with 24 RJ45 PoE ports, providing data and power over a single Ethernet cable. These switches comply with IEEE 802.3af/at standards and deliver up to 30W per port with total power budgets of 150W, 250W, 380W, 500W, or 630W. They are suitable for desktop placement and support 19-inch rack mounting for flexible installation, offering an economical PoE deployment option for small and medium-sized businesses.

Advantages

The GEP-2421 switches combine Gigabit data transfer with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE power delivery, enabling both power and network connectivity over one cable. With up to 24 PoE-enabled RJ45 ports and several total power budget options, these switches support a range of powered devices while simplifying cabling and installation. Their rack-mountable design allows integration into standard 19-inch racks or use on desktops, providing flexible placement for different deployment scenarios.

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 × RJ45 PoE ports
• Standards: IEEE 802.3af/at compliant
• Data rate: Gigabit Ethernet per port
• Power per port: Up to 30W
• Total power budget options: 150W, 250W, 380W, 500W, 630W
• Management: Unmanaged
• Mounting: Desktop and 19-inch rack-mountable

How to use

Mount the switch on a desktop or install it in a 19-inch rack using the included brackets or accessories. Connect the switch to the network infrastructure via standard Ethernet cables and plug PoE-capable devices into the RJ45 PoE ports. The switch will automatically negotiate PoE power delivery (IEEE 802.3af/at) and Gigabit link speed with connected devices. Monitor total power consumption to ensure it does not exceed the switch's selected power budget.

Recommendations

Choose the GEP-2421 model with a total power budget that matches the combined power requirements of your PoE devices. For installations placing multiple high-power devices, select a higher budget variant (380W or above) and verify rack space and ventilation for reliable operation.
