LevelOne FCS-4072 GEMINI PTZ IP-camera, 4 MP, 32x zoom, H.265, IR 200 m, binnen/buiten

The LevelOne FCS-4072 GEMINI is an outdoor PTZ IP security camera with 4-megapixel resolution, 32x optical zoom and H.265 compression. It uses a CMOS sensor with a focal length range of 5.9–188.8 mm, supports a 360° field of view, and provides night vision up to 200 meters with IR LEDs. The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and is housed in an IP66-rated weatherproof white casing suitable for wall mounting.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution 4-MP imaging with 32x optical zoom for detailed monitoring at distance while H.265 compression reduces storage and bandwidth needs. Motorized pan and tilt with a tilt speed up to 120°/sec enable flexible coverage across wide areas. PoE simplifies installation by supplying power and data over a single Cat5 cable, and the IP66 weatherproof housing ensures reliable outdoor operation in rain, dust, snow and humidity.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and large-area surveillance
• Parking lots and outdoor facilities
• Industrial sites and warehouses with external monitoring needs
• Entrances and access control points

How to use

Mount the LevelOne FCS-4072 on a suitable wall bracket at the desired height and connect it to your network switch or PoE injector using a Cat5/Cat6 Ethernet cable. Configure network settings and camera parameters via the provided management interface or compatible NVR software, set PTZ presets and patrol patterns as required, and verify IR night vision performance in low-light conditions. Regularly check the physical mount and cabling for damage and ensure firmware is kept up to date.

Recommendations

Install the camera at a stable, elevated position with a clear line of sight for optimal PTZ range; avoid direct exposure to strong artificial light sources that may reduce image quality. Use PoE for simpler deployment and secure the network connection. For long-term outdoor reliability, schedule periodic inspections of seals and cable entry points and apply manufacturer firmware updates.
