Lindy 10m actieve HDMI 18G kabel

Lindy Active HDMI 2.0 18G cable provides reliable high-bandwidth HDMI transmission over extended distances using an integrated active chipset. The discreetly housed amplifier in the connector boosts the signal to allow longer runs than passive HDMI cables, while maintaining support for full 18G HDMI bandwidth, 4096x2160 at 60 Hz resolution and REC.2020 colour space for wider colour gamut and HDR-compatible content.

Advantages

The active design removes the need for external extenders or repeaters and allows installation through conduit or tighter spaces thanks to the compact headshell. The cable complies with the HDMI 2.0 specification and is compatible with set-top boxes, media players and PCs when connected to modern displays or projectors. It also supports multi-channel audio formats such as Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio and provides CEC functionality for simplified device control through the display.

Key specifications

• Standard: HDMI 2.0
• Bandwidth: 18 Gbps
• Maximum resolution: 4096×2160 @ 60 Hz
• Colour space: REC.2020 (wider colour gamut, suitable for HDR)
• Audio: multi-channel formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS‑HD Master Audio
• Design: active cable with integrated signal amplification in connector
• Installation: suitable for conduit or tight spaces; connector headshell is compact
• Limitations: do not connect active HDMI cables together (no daisy-chaining)

How to use

Connect the cable with the connector labeled "display" to the monitor, screen or projector and the opposite connector to the source device (set-top box, media player or PC). Ensure the connectors fit the device sockets—some projectors have recessed HDMI ports that may not accept larger headshells. Follow any additional installation instructions provided by the manufacturer for optimal performance. Do not attempt to join two active HDMI cables together; this will prevent signal transmission.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify the connector orientation before insertion, confirm display settings match the supported 4096×2160@60Hz profile if required, and avoid daisy-chaining active HDMI cables. When routing through conduit, measure clearances to ensure the connector headshell fits without strain.
