Lindy 2m Cat.6 S/FTP-kabel, oranje

Cat.6 S/FTP Cable Lindy 2m in orange, a twisted-pair patch cable with RJ45 connectors designed for Gigabit Ethernet and data transfer up to 250 MHz. The cable uses foil shielding around each pair plus an overall braided shield (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference; gold-plated pins and an integrated snagless connector provide reliable, long-lasting contacts and protection for the connector latch. Individually packaged and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards, this 2 m cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and is suitable for home and office network setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with pair foil and overall braid improves resistance to crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion-resistant connections and stable signal transmission. The integrated snagless strain relief protects the latch during installation and removal, reducing connector damage. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801, the cable supports Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 250 MHz and comes with a 10-year warranty.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) connections
• Home and small office network wiring
• AV extension and streaming applications
• Patching between switches, routers, and wall outlets

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (switch, router, network card) and the other end to the corresponding port or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during installation and removal. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it near strong sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results use the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit connections and AV streaming; when installing in structured cabling, follow twisted-pair bend radius guidelines and separate power cables to reduce interference.
