Lindy 3 m USB 3.2 Type-A-kabel, 5 Gbit/s, Anthra Line

The Anthra Line USB 3.2 Type A to A cable by Lindy is a 3 m data cable designed for reliable high-speed connections in commercial AV and IT installations. The cable features triple-shielded construction with tinned copper conductors and gold-plated contacts to ensure signal integrity and resistance to corrosion. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates up to 5 Gbps and uses USB Type A connectors on both ends. The cable is available in a black and grey finish and is suited for connecting devices such as printers and external drives.

Advantages

Triple-shielded construction and tinned copper conductors reduce interference and improve long-term performance. Gold-plated connector contacts maintain reliable electrical contact and resist corrosion. The 3 m length provides flexibility for device placement while maintaining USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance up to 5 Gbps. Compatibility across USB 3.x generations ensures interoperability with a wide range of hosts and devices using Type A interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures
• Attaching printers and scanners to PCs
• Data transfer and backup between USB-A devices
• Commercial AV and IT installations requiring reliable USB A to A cabling

How to use

Connect one USB Type A plug to the host (PC, laptop or hub) and the other USB Type A plug to the peripheral device (external drive, printer, etc.). Ensure both device ports are clean and fully insert the plugs until they click or seat firmly. For optimum performance, use USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on both host and device. If connecting across adapters or hubs, verify that intermediate hardware supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds to maintain up to 5 Gbps transfer rates.

Recommendations

For stable high-speed transfers, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or heavy electrical wiring and keep connectors free of dust. Use the 3 m length where device placement requires extra reach but keep cable runs as short as practical for best signal integrity.
