Lindy 3m RJ45 S/FTP LSZH netwerkkabel, grijs

The Lindy 3m RJ45 S/FTP Cat7 Grey network cable is a 3 metre LSZH patch cord designed for high-performance Ethernet up to 10GBase-T. Constructed from Cat.7 S/FTP cable material with total braided shielding and foil shielding around each pair, it supports operating frequencies up to 600 MHz and is individually packaged in a polybag. The cable uses RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and offers a snagless strain relief for safer installation.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (braided overall shield plus foil pair shields) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed data transmission. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide durable, corrosion-resistant connections. The LSZH jacket minimises toxic and corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire, making the cable suitable for indoor installations. The snagless connector design protects the latch during frequent plugging and unplugging.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server rooms
• Rack-mounted network and control cabinets
• High-speed Ethernet installations up to 10GBase-T
• Indoor network cabling where low-smoke, zero-halogen material is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.7 S/FTP (braided overall shield + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 600 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Grey
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other RJ45 plug to the destination device (server, PC or another network outlet). Ensure the latch is aligned and press until it clicks. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; use the snagless strain relief when handling the connector to protect the latch. The cable is intended for indoor fixed installations and patching within racks and cabinets.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy Cat7 S/FTP cable for backbone links and patching where reduced interference and high bandwidth up to 600 MHz are required. For maximum performance, keep cable lengths within recommended Ethernet limits and avoid bundling with power lines to reduce potential interference.
