Lindy 4-poorts HDMI 18G splitter met audio en downscaling

The Lindy 4 Port HDMI 2.0 18G Splitter with Audio distributes a single HDMI source to four displays simultaneously while providing separate digital (optical) and analogue (3.5mm) audio outputs. It supports high-resolution video up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 8bit and includes a downscale switch to convert the input to Full HD for compatibility with older screens.

Advantages

The splitter enables multi-screen setups from one device, suitable for digital signage, sports bars and trade show presentations. Separate optical and 3.5mm audio outputs allow connection to non-HDMI amplifiers or soundbars. The integrated downscale switch improves compatibility with legacy displays and ensures each connected screen receives an appropriate image signal.

Key specifications

• HDMI version: 2.0
• Bandwidth: 18G
• Maximum resolution: 4K @ 60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
• Outputs: 4 × HDMI
• Audio outputs: Optical (TOSLINK) and 3.5mm analogue
• Downscale switch: converts input to Full HD

How to use

Connect the HDMI source device to the splitter input, then connect up to four HDMI displays to the output ports. If required, use the downscale switch to force a Full HD output for older screens. Connect optical or 3.5mm audio cables from the splitter to an amplifier or soundbar to extract audio independently of the HDMI outputs. Power the unit according to the supplied adapter and verify each display shows the expected resolution.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 18G bandwidth and ensure displays support the chosen resolution. When extracting audio to external amplifiers, verify compatible sample rates and channel configurations for optimal sound.
