Lindy 43381 USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 8 m USB C USB A zwart, blauw

The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 C/A Active Extension Cable Pro (8 m) is an active USB extension cable with USB-C to USB-A connectors that supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. Designed for reliable long-distance USB connectivity, the cable can be used alone or as part of the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro to extend USB signals over greater lengths. The cable is finished in blue and black and features plated contacts for improved durability.

Advantages

The active design preserves signal integrity over extended distances and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates (up to 5 Gbps). Locking connectors help maintain secure connections in demanding environments. The 8 m length offers flexible placement of hosts and peripherals, and the cable is compatible with other modules of the Lindy Active Extension Pro system for scalable extension up to 40 m.

Suitable for

• Extending USB peripherals such as external drives, webcams, and audio interfaces over long distances
• Integration into the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro to reach multiple devices
• Setups where secure, locked USB connections are required in halls, conference rooms, or studio environments

How to use

Connect the USB-A end of the cable to the computer (only the 8 m or 5 m Active Extension Pro cables may be connected directly to the host). Plug the USB-C end into the target peripheral or into the next segment of the Lindy Active Extension Pro system. To extend beyond a single cable, cascade additional compatible Lindy Active Extension Pro segments; the system supports a maximum overall length of about 40 m depending on configuration. For multi-device distribution or high-power devices, use the 10 m Hub Pro unit with its power supply as the final segment.

Recommendations

Do not invent additional direct host connections: only the specified 8 m (43381) or 5 m (43380) Active Extension Pro cables should be plugged directly into the computer. If connecting USB Type-C devices as the final segment, use the dedicated Type A to C Active Extension segment (43375 or 43376). For high-power peripherals, include the 10 m Hub Pro (43159) with PSU as the last segment to ensure adequate power delivery.
