Lindy 45367 netwerkkabel zwart 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 (A) SSTP RJ-45 7.5m Black is a shielded network cable designed for Ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T, supporting frequencies up to 500 MHz. The cable is constructed as S/FTP (braid overall shield with foil for each twisted pair) and is manufactured and tested according to ISO/IEC 11801. It features gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief, and uses a halogen-free LSZH sheath suitable for public spaces due to low smoke emission and absence of toxic halogen gases.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain consistent signal quality over time. The snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal, increasing durability. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer jacket reduces smoke and harmful emissions in confined or public environments.

Suitable for

• Wired 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections (10GBase-T)
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers
• Office, data center, and public space installations where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required
• General networking between routers, switches, PCs, and networked devices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 500 MHz
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: Braid overall shield + foil per pair (S/FTP)
• Standards: Meets ISO/IEC 11801; supports 10GBase-T
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, or computer) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the other device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the snagless strain relief helps protect the connector during insertion and removal. For optimal performance keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat.6A installations and avoid running parallel to power cables where possible.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy Cat.6 (A) SSTP cable for permanent or temporary high-speed network links in environments where interference shielding and low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
