Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 netwerkkabel patchkabel Cat6 1,5 m oranje

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 1.5 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission. Constructed from quality materials and tested to industry standards, the cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to ensure reliable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference. The orange jacket provides visual identification in installations.

Advantages

This Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable offers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling ultrahigh and low-error performance in demanding network environments. The S/FTP shielding adds protection against external interference, while the standard RJ-45 connectors ensure wide device compatibility. Its 1.5 m length is suitable for short to medium patching runs and tidy cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms
• Desktop workstations and office network setups
• Short to medium structured cabling runs
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into compatible network ports on devices such as switches, routers or PCs until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, ensure both ends are connected to compliant Cat.6 ports and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for structured cabling.

Recommendations

For sustained high-speed links, pair the cable with Cat.6-compliant hardware and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the orange colour to mark specific circuits or paths in patch panels for easier identification.
