Lindy 45370 netwerkkabel zwart 20 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6A S/FTP networking cable supporting bandwidths up to 500 MHz, supplied with RJ-45 connectors and a snagless strain relief. The Lindy Cat.6 (A) SSTP RJ-45 20m Black cable is shielded with an overall braid and foil-shielded individual pairs, manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801, and suitable for Ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. The LSZH (halogen-free) outer sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable appropriate for use in public spaces.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides strong protection against electromagnetic interference, enabling stable high-speed transmissions at frequencies up to 500 MHz and meeting 10 Gigabit Ethernet requirements. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver corrosion resistance and reliable long-term connections. The snagless design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The cable is supplied in individual polybag packaging and comes in a 20 m length with black outer jacket.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections in offices and data centers
• High-bandwidth home networking and media streaming
• Environments requiring low emissions and public-space installations (LSZH)
• Runs where extra shielding is needed to reduce crosstalk and EMI

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801
• Category: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 500 MHz
• Ethernet support: up to 10GBase-T
• Length: 20 m

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat.6A SSTP cable between network devices, ensuring bends comply with the cable's minimum bend radius and avoiding sharp kinks. Insert RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports until the latch clicks; the snagless strain relief prevents latch damage during handling. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate fixings without compressing the sheath or shielding. Verify link speed and connection stability after installation.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for runs requiring 10 GBase-T performance or where EMI protection is important. Avoid running the cable in close parallel to high-voltage power lines and ensure connectors are fully inserted. For optimal longevity, store and install the cable within manufacturer-recommended temperature and humidity ranges.
