Lindy 45372 netwerkkabel blauw 0,3 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6A S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, 0.3 m length and blue jacket. The cable is shielded with an overall braided shield plus foil shields around each twisted pair (S/FTP) and is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 to support 10GBase-T applications with an operating frequency up to 500 MHz. The sheath is halogen-free (LSZH) for reduced smoke and no toxic halogen emissions, and each cable is individually packaged in a polybag.

Advantages

The Lindy Cat.6(A) SSTP cable provides support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at frequencies up to 500 MHz, with foil-shielded pairs and an overall braid to minimise electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable, corrosion-resistant connections, while the snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and eliminates halogen emissions for safer use in public or enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Short-run connections between network equipment (switches, patch panels, routers) in data cabinets and workstations
• 10GBase-T and Gigabit Ethernet installations requiring shielded cabling
• Environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required (public buildings, offices)

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 500 MHz
• Length: 0.3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: foil per pair + overall braid (S/FTP)
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices (switch, router, network card or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For optimal shielding performance, maintain proper grounding of the network infrastructure and avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable. The compact 0.3 m length is intended for short patching runs inside cabinets or between adjacent ports.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat.6(A) SSTP 0.3 m cable for short, shielded patch connections in environments that require high data rates and low electromagnetic interference; avoid running parallel to large power cables and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines to preserve performance.
