Lindy 45602 netwerkkabel zwart 1 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP network cable with support for bandwidth up to 250 MHz and gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts. The Lindy 45602 is a 1 m Cat6 patch cable in black with SF/UTP (S/FTP) shielding and a snagless strain-relief design, manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards. The halogen-free (LSZH) sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public spaces.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding (braid overall shield plus foil for each pair) provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference for reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 1GBase‑T. Gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure low corrosion and long-term contact reliability. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal. The LSZH outer jacket lowers smoke emission and avoids halogen-related toxic gases in case of fire.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (10/100/1000Base‑T)
• AV extension and signal transmission
• Office and home network patching
• Installations in public buildings or confined spaces where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, gold-plated contacts
• Data rates: up to 1GBase‑T (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Colour: Black
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to your network device (switch, router, PC, AV equipment) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain the recommended bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For permanent installations, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimize interference.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat6 S/FTP 1 m cable for short patch connections within racks, between wall outlets and network equipment, or to connect AV devices where shielded cabling and LSZH jacket characteristics are required.
