Lindy 45630 Netwerkkabel rood 30 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Lindy Cat.6 SSTP (S/FTP PIMF) networking cable, 30 m length in red, supports bandwidths up to 250 MHz and is suitable for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and uses an overall braid shield plus foil shields for each twisted pair (S/FTP/PIMF). The sheath is halogen-free (LSZH), reducing smoke and toxic emissions for safer use in public and enclosed spaces. Connectors feature gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief for durable, corrosion-resistant connections and easier installation.

Advantages

The SSTP S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance over the full 30 m length. Gold-plated contacts ensure long-term corrosion resistance and stable signal transfer. The snagless connector design protects the latch during handling and insertion. The LSZH outer sheath minimizes smoke and hazardous halogen emissions, making the cable suited for installations where low smoke is required.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) connections
• Home and small office network cabling
• AV extension and streaming applications
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat.6 cable between network devices such as switches, routers and wall outlets, avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate or connect the pre-fitted RJ45 plugs directly to compatible ports; ensure the connector latch is not forced to prevent damage. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent mechanical strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for structured cabling, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and maintain the cable's minimum bend radius. Use the LSZH version in public buildings, server rooms and other enclosed spaces where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required.
