Lindy 45955 Netwerkkabel groen 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP network cable designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. The Lindy 45955 is a 7.5 m green RJ-45 patch cable manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 standards, suitable for Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1GBase-T) and AV extension applications. It features an overall braid shield with foil-shielded individual pairs (S/FTP), gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath. The cable is supplied individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission at frequencies up to 250 MHz. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain reliable connections over time. The snagless strain-relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1GBase-T)
• AV signal extension and multimedia installations
• Professional network cabling in office and data center environments

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Maximum data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network device (switch, router, PC, media player) and the other to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing excessive strain on connectors; the snagless design reduces the risk of latch damage during plug/unplug operations.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP LSZH cable for installations requiring Gigabit performance and enhanced shielding. For optimal performance maintain bend radius recommendations from network equipment manufacturers and avoid emergency power or high-voltage cable bundles to reduce interference.
