Lindy 47186 netwerkkabel zwart 30 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47186 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 30 m black Ethernet lead designed for structured data connections in home and office networks. It supports Cat6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding combined with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure a stable physical connection across the full cable length.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides stable Gigabit-capable transfers while the S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The 30 m length offers flexibility in placing networking equipment without the need for intermediate extenders or additional patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices in home or small office environments
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet links for desktop computers, NAS and media players
• Patch connections in structured cabling where Cat6 performance is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Cat6)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall and individually shielded pairs)
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of a router, switch or modem and the other RJ-45 connector to the target device such as a PC, NAS or IP camera. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click and avoid sharp bends or heavy kinks near the cable ends. For best performance, route the cable away from strong electrical sources and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding and impedance characteristics.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit performance, use the Lindy 47186 cable for direct connections within its 30 m length without additional passive extensions. When installing in mixed-cable environments, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large inductive equipment to minimise potential interference.
