Lindy 47282 netwerkkabel blauw 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47282 RJ-45 Cat7 networking cable is a 7.5 m blue cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Built to Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable provides stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference for reliable performance in home and office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external EMI, supporting consistent data transfer rates. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer improved contact corrosion resistance and lower contact resistance for dependable connections. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for typical room layouts while the Cat7 standard supports higher frequency performance compared with older cable classes.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair)
• Contact plating: gold-plated connectors
• Colour: Blue
• Cable category: Cat7

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on your router, switch, or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity. For wall or ceiling installations, use appropriate cable clips or ties to secure the cable without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the cable with Gigabit-capable network equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or large electrical devices. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear.
