Lindy 47324 netwerkkabel wit 2 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47324 2m Cat7 S/FTP White is a shielded networking cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. This 2-meter Cat7 cable uses S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts. It is compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and comes in a white finish to blend with most installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide stable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for consistent data transmission. The 2 m length offers flexibility for typical desktop or rack-to-desk connections without excess cable clutter. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible runs in offices and homes.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to switches or routers
• Linking network devices in small office or home office (SOHO) environments
• Patch panel to switch connections in cabinets where 2 m reach is sufficient
• Applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved shielding

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Lindy 47324 Cat7 cable to the Ethernet port of your device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 end to the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and routing the cable alongside high-power electrical lines that can introduce interference. Use cable management accessories to keep runs tidy and to prevent undue stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy Cat7 S/FTP cable for short fixed connections where shielded performance is needed. Verify compatibility with your network equipment rated for 10/100/1000Base-T(X). For longer runs or higher-category requirements, consult network planning to select appropriate cable lengths and categories.
