Lindy 47383 Netwerkkabel wit 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 1.5m White networking cable provides a 1.5 metre connection for Gigabit Ethernet networks. Constructed to Cat6 performance with S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference for more reliable data transmission. Both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for office, home or equipment rack installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually foiled pairs to minimise pair-to-pair crosstalk and protect against outside interference, supporting stable gigabit speeds over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance signal transfer and long-term reliability. The 1.5 m length balances reach with cable management needs in desktop and short-patch scenarios, while the white jacket integrates visually into most environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in offices and home networks
• Patch connections in server rooms and network cabinets
• Short-run links between networking devices where Cat6 performance is required
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Verify that connected devices support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and power down equipment if required by local installation procedures. Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the device ports until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable run clear of high-power electrical cables and strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Secure excess length with cable ties or a cable management system to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short patching and device interconnects where Cat6 performance and S/FTP shielding are needed; in installations with longer runs, verify required channel length and consider in-wall or plenum-rated alternatives if applicable.
