Lindy 47524 netwerkkabel zwart 5 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

Cat.6 U/UTP flat network cable supporting bandwidths up to 250 MHz and designed for Ethernet connections up to 1GBase-T. The unshielded U/UTP construction provides the required electrical performance (NExT, FExT and related parameters) for Gigabit Ethernet while the flat ribbon profile allows installation in narrow or space-limited pathways. Cables are manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and delivered individually in a polybag.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and ensure stable long-term connections. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal. The flat, thin and very flexible cable construction enables routing through tight spaces and under flooring or along skirting boards where round cables may be impractical.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 (U/UTP)
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Supported Ethernet: up to 1GBase-T (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Construction: flat ribbon, unshielded
• Contacts: gold plated
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Packaging: individually polybagged

How to use

Route the flat Cat.6 cable through the intended pathway, taking advantage of its flexibility to pass through narrow gaps or under trims. Terminate the RJ45 connectors onto compatible keystone jacks or plugs following standard wiring schemes (T568A/T568B). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages; the snagless strain relief helps prevent latch damage during repeated insertions and removals.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radii gentle. Use correct termination and test the installed link to verify compliance with Cat.6 performance parameters.
