Lindy 47797 Netwerkkabel wit 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 7.5m White networking cable provides a shielded Ethernet connection designed for reliable Gigabit performance in home and office environments. With Category 6 specification and S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pair with overall braid) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 7.5 meter length. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact reliability and resist corrosion while ensuring consistent data transfer.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves immunity to external noise and minimizes internal pair-to-pair interference, which supports stable Gigabit Ethernet speeds over standard copper cabling. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide durable contacts and lower contact resistance. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for routing between networking equipment without excessive slack. The white outer jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance suitable for visible installations in residential and office settings.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for desktop PCs and laptops
• Connecting network switches, routers and patch panels within a LAN
• Home office and small business network installations
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (foil around each pair plus overall braid)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device (PC, laptop, or networked equipment) and the other plug to a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from power cables and sources of electrical noise where possible. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and use proper cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable with compatible Gigabit network interfaces and shielded network equipment when possible. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connector latches are compromised. Store excess cable coiled without sharp bends to preserve shielding and internal pair geometry.
