Lindy 5 m USB 3.2 Type-A-naar-B-kabel, 5 Gbit/s, Anthra Line

The Lindy Anthra Line USB 3.2 Type A to B cable (5 m, model 36744) is a professional-grade connection cable designed for commercial AV and IT installations. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is intended for connecting peripherals such as printers, scanners and other USB devices requiring reliable, high-speed data transfer.

Advantages

The cable features triple-shielded construction and tinned copper conductors to reduce interference and resist corrosion. Gold-plated contacts and robust connectors maintain signal integrity and provide long-term reliability. Available in a 5 m length, the cable offers flexibility for installations where extra reach is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and multifunction devices
• Connecting scanners and imaging peripherals
• Linking USB devices to PCs or AV equipment in commercial setups

How to use

Insert the USB Type A connector into the host device (PC or AV host with a Type A port) and the USB Type B connector into the peripheral (printer, scanner or other device). Ensure connectors are aligned and fully seated; do not force. For optimal performance, use with devices and hosts that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 to achieve up to 5 Gbps transfer speeds. USB 3.2 Gen 1 products are backward compatible with earlier USB versions when using a Type A or Type C host interface.

Recommendations

For best signal performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable, keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources, and secure connectors to prevent strain. Use the 5 m cable where additional reach is needed but try to minimise unnecessary cable length for critical high-speed links.
