The be quiet! Pure Rock LP is an ultra-compact low-profile CPU cooler with a height of just 45 mm designed to fit into the smallest PC builds such as Mini-ITX and other small form factor cases. It combines a compact footprint with solid cooling performance suitable for HTPCs and compact multimedia or gaming systems.

Advantages

The Pure Rock LP delivers reliable cooling up to 100 W TDP using three high-performance heat pipes while maintaining a very low overall height. A thin 92 mm PWM fan with a high-quality rifle bearing provides a balance between effective heat dissipation and quiet operation, with noise measured at 30.6 dB(A) at maximum fan speed. The cooler ships with installation kits for both Intel and AMD consumer chipsets for straightforward mounting in tight enclosures.

Suitable for

Mini-ITX builds and other small form factor PCs
HTPCs and living-room multimedia systems
Compact gaming systems with CPUs up to 100 W TDP
Systems requiring low-profile cooling to maintain component access

Key specifications

Height: 45 mm
Cooling capacity: up to 100 W TDP
Heat pipes: 3 high-performance heat pipes
Fan: 92 mm PWM, 15 mm thin, rifle bearing
Noise level: 30.6 dB(A) at maximum fan speed
Compatibility: Intel and AMD consumer chipsets (installation kit included)

How to use

Mount the Pure Rock LP onto the processor socket following the included installation manual for your Intel or AMD platform. Ensure the cooler makes full contact with the CPU heatspreader and secure the mounting brackets evenly to avoid uneven pressure. Connect the PWM fan cable to the CPU fan header on the motherboard to enable automatic speed control.

Recommendations

For best results in compact cases, maintain at least minimal airflow through the chassis (one intake and one exhaust where possible). Monitor CPU temperatures under load to confirm adequate cooling for your specific CPU model and workload; consider case airflow improvements if temperatures approach the CPU’s thermal limits.
