Luchtkoeler Silverstone SST-AR09-AM4 6 cm zwart 1200-5000 t/min

The Silverstone SST-AR09-AM4 is a compact air cooler for AMD AM4/AM5 platforms, designed to provide effective thermal management in space-constrained systems. It combines a 60 mm fan with a small heatsink profile to offer silent and efficient cooling for low- to mid-power CPUs in small-form-factor builds and 2U server applications.

Advantages

The cooler's compact dimensions (71 × 102 × 66 mm) and light weight (0.295 kg) make it suitable for tight installations while allowing easy mounting on AM4 and AM5 sockets. The 60 mm fan supports speeds from 1200 to 5000 RPM and runs at 12 V, delivering targeted airflow (4.83 m³/h) for reliable heat dissipation. Its black finish integrates unobtrusively into a variety of system interiors.

Suitable for

• Small-form-factor desktops and HTPCs
• 2U rack servers and compact server chassis
• Systems using AMD Socket AM4 or AM5 processors with modest thermal loads
• Builds where component clearance is limited

How to use

Install the Silverstone SST-AR09-AM4 onto a compatible AM4 or AM5 motherboard following the manufacturer's mounting procedure. Ensure the CPU surface and cooler contact area are clean and apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste before fitting the cooler. Secure the cooler according to the mounting hardware instructions and connect the fan to a 12 V fan header or PWM/header as specified by the motherboard. Verify clearance around surrounding components and cable routing to avoid fan obstruction.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cooler on processors with moderate TDP in small or rack-mounted systems. Regularly check and clean the fan to maintain airflow, and verify fan speed settings in BIOS or fan-control software to balance cooling performance and noise.
