PC-behuizing Silverstone FARA V1M PRO tower zwart

The Silverstone FARA V1M PRO Tower Black is a compact mid-tower PC case engineered for efficient airflow and practical component installation. Finished in black with a tempered glass side panel, this case supports Mini-ITX and Micro ATX motherboards and accepts ATX and PS2 style power supplies. It ships with a pre-installed 120mm front fan and offers mounting options for additional 120mm or 140mm fans to improve cooling. Drive support includes both 2.5" and 3.5" storage devices, while front I/O provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports alongside two USB 2.0 ports for peripheral connectivity.

Advantages

The design balances a compact footprint (210mm width × 435mm depth × 394mm height) with internal space for common components, allowing for straightforward cable routing and component access. A tempered glass side window offers visibility of installed hardware without compromising structural rigidity, while the included 120mm fan and support for additional fans give flexibility in setting up an efficient cooling layout. Built from steel with plastic accents, the chassis is durable yet light enough for easy handling.

• Home desktop builds using Mini-ITX or Micro ATX motherboards
• Office PCs that require a small footprint and basic expansion
• Budget gaming systems with a single GPU and moderate cooling needs
• Compact workstation builds with a mix of 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs

How to use

Install the compatible motherboard (Mini-ITX or Micro ATX) onto the standoffs, mount the ATX or PS2-compatible power supply in its designated bay, and route power and data cables through available openings for tidy cable management. Fit storage drives into the 2.5" or 3.5" trays and secure the graphics card and expansion cards in the rear slots. Connect front panel USB and power/reset headers to the motherboard according to the manual. Add additional 120mm or 140mm fans in the available mounting positions if increased airflow is needed.

Recommendations

For stable temperatures, maintain at least a front-to-rear airflow path: place intake fans at the front and an exhaust at the rear or top where supported. Use 2.5" SSDs for operating system and applications and 3.5" HDDs for bulk storage. Check clearance for larger GPUs and CPU coolers before finalizing component selection, and secure the tempered glass panel carefully to avoid scratches during installation.
